FAQs

  • Please phone, email or submit the Contact Us form if you are interested in our services or have any questions.

  • No. However, some insurance plans may require one for coverage.

  • Please phone, email or submit a Contact Us form to schedule your initial appointment. Subsequent sessions can be scheduled directly with Dr. Colosimo during a meeting, or by phone or email to the office.

  • Treatment length and frequency of sessions depends on the overall situation. In some cases, a small number of sessions is sufficient for consulting about a very specific problem or question, like dealing with a tricky relationship or external stressor. Typically, more regular sessions are needed to work on longstanding or ‘really sticky’ emotional, interpersonal, or workplace issues - this may mean 12-18 weekly sessions, if possible, or longer-term therapy spanning months or years. Healing takes time - and is bound to happen under the right conditions.

  • Please contact our office by phone or email as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. No-shows for scheduled appointments and cancellations with less than 2 business days notice will be subject to charges. This is specified in our service agreement upon starting. Please note, cancellation and no-show fees are not covered by health insurance plans.
